Due to the location of the diesel DEF tank, ensuring that this system stays safe on the trail is one of the forefront concerns of diesel JL owners. Our heavy-duty skid plate encases the DEF tank and muffler so they can take hits left and right through the trail ride. Offering a heat barrier between the two will also allow you to rest easy that the exhaust is not heating the plastic DEF tank causing damage.
