The additional stress of suspension lifts and larger tires can lead to the failure of the factory drag link sleeve. Once buckled or fractured, the vehicle is undriveable, and the factory sleeve must be replaced.

The sleeve is machined from billet 4130 heat-treated chromoly steel, and it is precision threaded to mate with the stock drag link components. It is zinc coated for rust-protection, providing a durable finish.

The DHD sleeve comes complete with heavy-duty clamps to form a single, rigid drag-link assembly ready to handle those hard rock obstacles. The better built DHD Drag Link Sleeve provides the additional drag-link length often needed to center the steering wheel properly after a suspension lift, which is critical to avoiding potential issues with the vehicles stability control system.
